Day 2 of filming "BEAR TRAP!!!"

I felt like I did well under the pressure, I now know the importance of the rehearsal. It really saved my butt, the only thing I would say is that it should be a little closer to the shooting date, instead of two weeks away it should be the weekend before.

I need to make sure my shots cut well together. Usually I don't have a problem with this but today I had one that seemed like it could be a little difficult. Also the dolly shot with Tyler skidding could have been a lot better if I had rehearsed it beforehand.

REHEARSE EVERY SHOT!!!!


I'm going to make sure that this next weekends shoot is very smooth and that every shot is slated at least once.

Film's lessons

Film making takes time. It's something that should never be rushed, no compromises should be made. Well, if you're going to make one, make sure it's necessary.

I learned from my shoot today that self discipline is a very important thing to a filmmaker. It is also something I could use more of.
